Soul Motion Mindful Movement

with Sebastian Drießen

Friday, 24.06.2022 10:00 - 11:30 h (CET)
Kirche der Stille, Helenenstr. 14, 22765 Hamburg

We begin this morning class with still sitting. We notice the flow of our breath, the beating of the heart and pulsing of the cells. They remind us that all what we need for our dance in life already exists within us.

The following movement phase offers space for expressing this inner aliveness. Guided by mindfulness and supported by music and the great sound of silence, our gestures, steps and shapes become our personal body prayer.

At the end of the class we enter again into a few minutes of still sitting and notice what has changed and what is present now. We prepare for our transition into the new day and the many dances it vinvites us to.

The focus of this morning class is on „Dance Intimite“, the inner dance, alone. However, since we practice in a group setting there is always the possiblity of taking in inspiration from the other dancers in the space.

No previous experience necessary.

COVID-Regulations: There are currently no restrictions. We ask all participants to make a self-Covid test on the day of the class.
